COURSE OVERVIEW

In this WSQ certified Advanced Pastry Preparation course, learn to transform ingredients into an assortment of confectioneries and desserts such as luxurious chocolates, deconstructed tiramisu and salted caramel brittle. Delve deep into the details and techniques of sophisticated cake decorations, creating visual appeal through the use of symmetry and asymmetry, colour and visual flow. Sharpen your culinary craft and become an artisanal pastry chef.

ENTRY REQUIREMENT: 

• Age 21 and above

• Primary education and above

• Have attained competency in Intermediate Pastry Preparation course (Level 3 or equivalent) or have experience in preparing intermediate pastry products

• Workplace Literacy & Numeracy Level: At least Level 2 (listening/ speaking and reading/writing)
